Year 2014 - 5th January Ganesha Homa at Spiritual Park
A cyclone had just passed close to the island of Mauritius and fortunately there were no real damages but we were blessed to have obtained lots of rain which we needed so much after a long period of dry weather. Now the Spiritual Park will look greener and all the trees which have been well watered will welcome our daily visitors with their cooling shades in this hot summer season.
Our SSC Mauritius Mission Ganesha Homa drew it's usual number of devotees. Because of New Year weekend festivities that Sunday 5th, most devotees came early to the Park to worship at the shrines, left their written prayers and left for home immediately. Others stayed until the end of the ceremony. We had our normal homa with our normal flow of activities, with everyone happily doing his usual siva thondu on that day. Had some visitors, the Catatapoullé family from Reunion island who have been attending the Himalayan Academy Innersearch with Bodhinatha.
We share with you a few photos of our first Sunday Homa for 2014. Aum.
